How AWS Accounts are Listed

Once the AWS credentials (Access Key and Secret Access Key) are configured in the Admin Panel of Quantashare, the AWS accounts associated with those credentials will automatically appear in the Accounts Panel of the Quantashare application. If you didn’t configured follow the instructions in How to Retrieve AWS Access Key and Secret Access Key to generate them.

Steps to View AWS Accounts in Quantashare

1. Admin Panel Configuration:

   The admin must configure valid AWS credentials by navigating to the AWS Account Configuration section in the Quantashare Admin Panel.

   The following details are required: - Access Key - Secret Access Key

   These credentials allow Quantashare to securely connect to your AWS environment and retrieve account information.

2. Navigate to the Account:

   In the main dashboard of the application, locate the section labeled QuantaShare. This section will Navigate to QuantaShare Application the Account are lsited.

3. AWS Accounts Panel:

   After configuring the credentials, the AWS accounts associated with the provided credentials will be listed in the Accounts Panel within the Quantashare application.

4. Account Listing:

   The Quantashare application will automatically fetch and display all AWS accounts that are accessible using the configured credentials.

   • You can view the listed AWS accounts directly from the Accounts Panel.

   • The information displayed includes account name from AWS.

Important Notes

• The AWS credentials configured in the Admin Panel must have the required permissions to list and access AWS accounts (e.g., iam:ListAccounts).

• Any changes made to the credentials in the Admin Panel will update the listed accounts in the Quantashare application.

Note

If no AWS accounts are visible in the Accounts Panel, verify that the correct AWS credentials have been configured in the Admin Panel, and ensure the credentials have appropriate access permissions.
