Mail Configuration¶
This section allows an administrator to configure the email settings for the application.
Mail:
The email address used for sending system-generated emails such as notifications or alerts.
Example: *********@gmail.com (masked for privacy). Ensure this email account has the appropriate permissions to send emails.
App ID:
An identifier used for authenticating the email account with the service provider. This is required for sending emails through email APIs (e.g., Gmail API, Office 365, or custom SMTP services).
Example: ************tqgv (masked for privacy).
Buttons:
Delete:
Removes the current mail configuration from the system.
Cancel:
Cancels any unsaved changes made to the mail configuration.
Save:
Saves the changes made to the mail configuration.
Test:
Sends a test email to verify if the mail configuration is working correctly. This ensures that the configured email settings can successfully send emails.
